BCCC has had girls cricket in its history — and we're proud of what's been achieved before. But right now, we're in a growth phase, and we need your help to get girls' teams back on the field.
We don't currently have active girls' teams, and we want to change that. If your daughter is keen on cricket — whether she's never held a bat or has been playing for years — registering her interest is the first step towards making it happen.
We're actively building numbers so we can enter teams in Auckland Cricket Association grades. The more interest we receive, the sooner we can get things moving.
Cricket builds confidence, teamwork, and resilience — and every girl deserves access to those opportunities. We believe BCCC should be a club where girls feel genuinely welcomed, celebrated, and supported.
We have the facilities, the community, and the heart to make girls cricket thrive at War Memorial Park. What we need now is you.
We've been here before
BCCC previously fielded a U13 Lightning team that competed in the ACA competition, and an U11 Blaze softball team. Both were highlights of the club's recent history. We're proud of what those teams achieved, and we're looking forward to building on that foundation.
We're looking for coaches, team managers, and volunteers who'd like to help establish girls cricket at BCCC. No formal coaching qualification is required to get started — BCCC and Auckland Cricket provide pathways to get you there. If you're keen, we want to hear from you.
Register your daughter's interest — or your own as a coach
Drop us a message and we'll add your name to our girls cricket interest list. When we have enough interest to form a team, you'll be the first to know.
