Andrew has been involved with the administration of BCCC since the mid-2000s, initially looking after the finances before becoming chairman in the early 2010s. He wants to see BCCC continue to serve the people of Kaipātiki and develop new ways of delivering cricket. Alongside his board role, Andrew played for BCCC in the lower One Day grades for 20 seasons – his only claim to fame being a possible diving catch, though he may have just tripped.
